16-A Position or a Place

    In our spiritual immaturity, it is easy to want a position of prominence rather than the place God has set us. It may become an important position, but one lesson I learned is not to assume a position of authority. First, let’s get this straight. Each person in the Body of Christ is essential. No one is more important in God’s eyes than another, and that should be our attitude toward ourselves and one another as well. When we think of ourselves as more important than we are, we are in for a big surprise; usually, God humbles us until we understand it.
