17-Our Love Must Not Become Stale

    I woke up early one morning with the Lord saying, ”Your love for Me must never become stale.” I was reminded that I recently found a loaf of fresh whole-grain bread that had grown moldy. I had left it on the counter for a few days, forgetting to refrigerate it. I had to throw it out. As a kid, I remember that loaves of white bread could be left out because they were conveniently pumped with synthetic preservatives and all their nutrients removed. It could probably last days in a bread box without molding or growing stale. Our love can do the same thing if we let our love be exposed to the world’s elements.
