Martin Luther NAC-84

Even though he never went to Norway, Martin Luther profoundly impacted Norway and the rest of Scandinavia. Since this is the 500th year of the Protestant Reformation, it was only fitting that I devote one article to his life and contribution to history. November 10th would be the anniversary of his birth. He was born in 1483 in Eisleben, Saxony, Germany, in what was then the Holy Roman Empire. While it has nothing to do with this story, my 32nd great-grandfather was the Duke of Saxony. He lived five centuries before Martin came on the scene.
