I don't know about you, but after a few weeks, I am ready to get home from a vacation, even if I am having a great time. The longest time away from home was a summer job, and four-week trips to Israel and Norway. For centuries, Norwegians have been a seafaring people. As exciting as their adventures were, I am sure that they longed to return to their families in Norway.
