Ancestry of Børre Andreas Jensen NAC-110

My great-great-grandfather on my dad's mother's side of the family was Børre Andreas Jensen. He was born on June 9, 1834, in Kristiansand, Norway. My cousin, David Crankshaw, wrote about his tragic life in Article No. 4, but I wanted to take his ancestors back a couple of generations with this article. The Jensens were living in Kristiansand when they began to immigrate to the United States. However, Børre's family came from farms northeast of the city along the Tovdalselva River and in the farms around Kristiansand, now absorbed by that city.
