NAC-157 Vikings

I can't believe that it has taken me 157 articles to finally write an article on the Vikings. These people came from Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. Because much of their existence was based on fishing, they became expert sailors and navigators. By their very design, their longboats were very adept at traveling at great speed and capable of navigating shallow waters, even in waters only three feet deep. This allowed them to raid, plunder, and strike terror along the coastlines and rivers of its neighboring nations. Initially, the British Isles and Ireland were its targets, but eventually, their ventures took them throughout Europe, the Mediterranean Sea, North Africa, Russia, the Middle East, and North America. They were not only raiders and pirates, but they were traders as well.
