NAC-161 Impact of World War II on Norway

               This month, it was 80 years ago that Germany agreed to end the five-year occupation of Norway during World War II. As Americans, we cannot relate to the impact of a hostile foreign nation occupying our soil. The nearest thing would be our civil war. But the effect on Norway was torturous. This article was inspired after reading a fictional book based on facts entitled “The Jøssing Affair” by J.L. Oakley. (See note.)
