"Norway in a Nutshell" NAC-138

I raised my eyebrows in doubt when my travel agent highly recommended including “Norway in a Nutshell” on our first trip to Norway. What was that all about? They called it “one of the greatest train trips in the world.” Albeit, I have not been on that many train trips, I now have to agree. I cannot imagine anything more spectacular.

"Norway in a Nutshell" is a railroad line from Oslo to Bergen with branches from Myrdal to Flåm on the Aurlandsfjord and from Voss to Gudvagen on the Nærøyfjord. Both Aurland and Nærøy are arms of the Sognefjord, the second-longest fjord in the world.
