One of the greatest lessons I have learned in exploring my heritage is that I am not 100% Norwegian, and no one really is. Yes, my parents, grandparents, and great-great-great-grandparents were all residents of Norway; however, I should not have been surprised that with my Viking wanderlust heritage, some lines would have originated elsewhere. Unfortunately, one of those lineages came from the Shetland Islands, now part of Scotland.
