Whew! Americans made it through another election. We heard promises that they may or may not keep. We threw some rascals out, knowing that the new ones would have become rascals when they run for reelection. We heard much of the same old rhetoric and jingles without much substance. As usual, politics divided families, colleagues, and friends. It is something most have come to dread.
