The Counts of Eberstein NAC-104

Have you ever imagined living in a castle? What if it was the residence of one of your ancestors? What would it have been like for them? What would happen if you could stay in the very one your ancestors lived in, but thank God, it has been modernized? I just happened to stumble onto two castles in my ancestral line.

I have always known that my Haakinson/Eide lineage goes back to the Viking kings of Norway. I have written about several of these ancestors in the past. Still, I seemed to continually skip the Counts of Eberstein, who lived in southwestern Germany from the middle of the 11th century through the 13th century.
