Recently my cousin, Jakob Thormodsater, surprised me by sending a picture of my Grandfather Abel Haakinson's house where he grew up on Bømlo Island at the mouth of the Hardanger Fjord in western Norway. I realized I had not done an article on him, so I hope to rectify that this month.
