Norwegian-Founded Towns NAC-106

I was a little surprised at the number of people who responded to my first article on Norwegian-founded towns. It must have brought back memories. Norwegians just seem to find each other and congregate together. I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Whittier, one of its suburbs. One might be surprised, but we lived in a little Norwegian enclave. Our friends, the Bangs and Sevolds, had moved to Whittier, but both lived about a mile away from us. But on our block, lived the Petersons, Thompsons, Nelsons, Hansons, and Hove (Deane). Around the corner were the Anerudes. A couple further blocks away were our good friends, the Gundersens. Our Lutheran church had many more Norwegians scattered throughout the area.
