Paper Clip NAC-7

Legends are often based on an event that actually occurred, but after storytellers have retold the legend, including their own little twists and turns, the event is often very different from reality. Legends remind me of the party game called Telephone. Everyone forms a circle. The first person starts by whispering a sentence to the next person, who passes it on until it goes completely around the circle. The last person then tells what they heard, which is very different from what the first person said. Legends are like this, yet they can have a powerful impact on one’s culture.
