What the heck are you thinking writing about surfing, Dean? Is there a Norwegian American who is a famous surfer? Maybe, but no, that is not the subject of this article! Granted, I loved body surfing at Huntington Beach, California, but never mastered board surfing, so no, this is not about a passion of mine.

This is an article on surfing in Norway. Norwegians are known for their extreme sports, but we always recognize their accomplishments with snow and ice. But when I read about a surfing company and school in the Lofoten Islands, I was intrigued.
