Civil War Veterans in the Family MCF-63

November 11th is Veterans’ Day and I thought it might be interesting to write an article about the Civil War Veterans in the family tree. I have noted some veterans in past articles, but I thought extending the search to brothers and uncles might be good. When one considers the sacrifice the family made during the horrific conflict, it is unsurprising why patriotism runs deep within the Miller and Cook families. My family was not here until after the Civil War, so it has been interesting to compare our attitudes toward that period of time.
