Recently, a friend, not a Norwegian, recommended a youtube.com site that plays soothing music to relax by. He did not realize that the composer was Peder B. Helland. But I immediately recognized the Norwegian surname since one of our Fedje cousins married a Helland. With over 2 million hits on youtube.com, I may be the only Norwegian American unfamiliar with his work. If you have not relaxed to his Celtic melodies, I wanted to introduce you to him.
