Stephen and Nancy Beers MCF-39

Not all stories are fun to tell, for every lineage has tragedies and heartaches. One such tragic story was that of Stephen Frederick Beers. He was the son of Isaac and Catherine Beers and was born in about 1824 or 1825, probably in Genesee County, New York, where his parents were from. He moved to Michigan with his parents when he was eleven, among the earliest settlers in Tompkins Township, Jackson County, Michigan.
